Catherine is a NY based Photo Editor and Visual Artist.

Born and raised in California, she spent most of her childhood outdoors, exploring the woods and coastline. She fell in love with photography at the age of 15 when she started shooting b&w film and making prints in the darkroom. Her fascination with her natural surroundings inspired her work and fueled her love for abstract and conceptual photography. Pursuing a career in the photo industry, she left the west coast to attend the School of Visual Arts, where she then later graduated with a BFA in photography.

She has over ten years of experience in the industry and has had the honor to work for companies such as, Hearst Corporation’s Food Network Magazine and Studio D, Frans Lanting Inc. of National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Shutterstock, Trunk Archive, Topix Media Lab, InPickleball Magazine, The Design Leadership Network, Rizzoli Publishing, and Susan Schadt Press.

Catherine is currently working as a freelance photo editor.
